Rusty Sunroof Bolts

My glass sunroof has 6 bolt heads on the exterior of the panel. The 4 holding the tabs are fine. The 2 holding the latching mechanism are really rusted and pitted. I've used a Dremel grinding bit to clean it up some but they still look like crap. Any ideas where I could find replacements bolts?????

I beleive they are just standard carriage bolts, did you try removing one and going to Lowe's or somewhere to find a new one

They are actually internally threaded "heads" of the bolts with a small shank that fits thru the sunroof. I'm stopping by Lowes today anyway and will take a look. I've never seen a bolt quite like it. Mine look like the've been under the ocean for a few centuries.

the cheap fix is to buy a bottle of automotive touch-up paint and cover the rust
