all of a sudden started to idle normally at a perfect 750-800ish...

It's acting like Herbie the bug or Christine.

This car is possessed I tell you....

Or it could be I have been driving it hard and the fuel system cleaned up
a bit?

You should see the looks I get with all the rust holes and duct tape.

edit add: Question when I hit the brakes and or clutch sometimes the idle falls to 4-500. Any ideas?
It's also got Cali rats nest. Which I am should remove I guess. Have never done that but the guides
look cool. The vehicle is Texas exhaust exempt.

 

I need an exorcist for my car! Sounds like you have your fair share as well. My old nikki carb used to idle down low like what you said, and depending on how hard I braked, it would sometimes die. Nothing worse than hitting your pedal, then suddenly go soft on ya.

 

That last part, "IS WHAT SHE SAID!!" oh yeah, my GF tried to get in my 7 and she closed her thumb in the door, and it some how magicaly locked and she lost the keys on the ground.....Also It wouldn't turn over for a friend but when I got in it fired right up. Mine is Haunted in a semi-good way.

 

My FC started fixing itself. Real creepy but cool. The SA Idles pretty strong at 1-1100 RPMs
