It Runs!!!(vid)

turns out it wasn't starting for a reason that didn't include the 7 year old fuel... i thought L1 was front rotor and L2 rear, so i had em backwards... as soon as i figured that out, it started right up first cranks. but it wasn't without issue... now i find a terrible oil leak, couldn't figure out where it came from, so i got a cardboard box, busted it down, and put it under the car, then started it again... the oil cooler has a pretty massive leak, but i'm not sure exactly where from... called up atkins dan today, i'm gonna get a 86 oil cooler off him for 40 bux, and i'm gonna have some oil cooler lines made at a local hydraulics shop, since i definately can't afford to get them from mazdatrix... anyways on with the vid! its 1 meg, divx with mp3 audio

yay... btw yeah i know i hit 5000 rpm, the bearings aren't new they r the ones that came in the motor, so don't gotta break those in, only thing needing a break in is the apex seals need to seat properly... but all in all it runs real smooth... i couldn't get it to idle any lower than 1500 rpm, but i didn't have long to mess with it...

and yes, i was on the phone, so u get to hear me sound like a dummy lol

and yes, i know the oil pressure guage isn't working, i don't know where the wire went!!!

L1 IS the front rotor, and L2 is the rear.

kettlman just informed me in my other thread that i was correct, and what it means since it runs when they r backwards is my timing is off, probly because my pulley wasn't put on in the right orientation to the motor when it was built... i got the motor built by atkins, and it had 1 bolt on the pully loosely holding it on, so i tightened it all up like that
