It Runs!!! It Finally Runs!

Hey guys I FINALLY got my S5 N/A swap running. Stock S5 fuel injection and everything! The thing has so much guts to it, I'm simpily in shock.

The problem I was having was the thing didnt want to idle, which is fine because its a rebuild with used rotor housings. SO I just tightened the throttle cable enough where the thing stays steady at 1500 RPM.

I finally get to be like the rest of you guys an DRIVE my 7 now. I'll be posting a shitload of pics later tonight!

How long did it take you, to get it going ?? look at all the ****....is this right ? thats an -SE, right ? with manual windows ? So you installed a 2ed gen engine,ECU, wiring harness, and ignition? Does the harness interface
with the 13b RE EGI
or have to 'splice' into it ? The best part IMO is to see that the A/C is alive and well, i think thats 'cool' Lol . My a/c compresser just took a dump on me, so i'm noticing
the A/C. looks good , man .

great job man,

ask the second gen forum guys how to fine tune your idle, cuz 1500rpm is really high. Mine was like that for a short time but now it idles at 900 smoothly.

You should also consider the tb mod, the second gen guys swear by it!! It will also help in the smooth idle.

Yea, a writeup would be cool, but I'm betting it would be more of a novel if he did a breakdown of the entire swap.

You don't really need that AC in WA do you? Looks good nonetheless. I really, really need to know where you got that braided upper radiator hose and for how much. Have any problems with the hose install or no? Good work.
