Rugby League is my saviour!

I know alot of you may think this is an RX-7 thread and the greatest sport in the world has nothing to do with this but I have always admired the Mazda RX-7's and after recieving my pay packet for playing a sport I love I brought my first (and not my last) Mazda RX-7, you may think so what but the fact is that I am only 18 and I already have the best car around.
BTW, I take it most of the members are Americans on the forums so you wouldn't know much about rugby league but it is a game that is growing considerably and there is even team in Glenn Mills, Philadelphia, Wilmington, New York, Media and another club that I forgot.
Anyway, as I am asking alot of questions on the greatest car on earth, maybe a few of you guys would like to ask me about the greatest sport on Earth. If you are interested write back.

Just a question for all RX-7 enthusiasts-
Can someone give me a brief outline on some of the abbrieviations and examples of what each part does for the car.
I am only just 18 and I recently got my car so I am not up-to-date but I am very, very keen to learn the tricks of the trade and what better people to talk to.
BTW, I have a '82 Model RX-7 and it looks grand spanking as it was looked after very well by previous owner and I have nearly washed the paint of it.
Please reply, I am keen to learn.

my roommate 5yrs ago in college played rugby.

anyway, generations: 1st, sa(79-80), fb(81-85), fc(86-92), fd(93-present)
dizzy-distributor, tells sparkplugs when to fire
alt-alternator, charges battery
airpump-on the passenger side under the carb toward the front. pumps air into the exhaust to combust unburnt fuel.
cat-catalytic convertor, emissions, fed by air pump
thermal reactor-sa's had this **** instead of the cat. bolted directly to the engine and is basically a 100lb oven. fed by air pump.

you probably know a lot of this but there is what i have to offer for my 5 sec attention span.

Some are so different they play Rugby League rather than Rugby Union as played in most countries. However a short time in RX-7s could lead to sanity and an appreciation of the finer things in life. For those who play Football the rules are simple, you can only throw the ball backwards, and tackle an opponent when he has the ball.
