BTW, pedal placement is crucial in order to do a good heal/toe maneuver. Most cars I've driven have aweful pedal placement but the 1st Gen's pedals are darn near perfect for this manuver. If you wanna learn heal/toe we got the right cars for it. 
PS - heal/toe is a bad term IMO. Your heal has nothing to do with it. The action is more like "big toe/little toe".
