Rough idle, help please

Cans seem to get her running smooth at idle, no idea where to start.. this is my first rotary..

It's a 12a rotary, carbed, goes like stink, seals and bearings just done, soe the seals are not the problem..

also.. where can i get performance upgrades and turbo's for an 83 rx-7?

thanks...

Check the idle mixture on the carb.

Read the first gen FAQ thread. I think it has stuff in there for the carb and performance links

HERE is the link that tells how to adjust the idle mixture. I would make sure this is right first. If its still rough, I had a big vacuum leak and it made my car idle real rough

if you advance my timing a wee bit, it runs rougher. Who cares about rough idle? you aren't a mail man, are you? Just give it some gas dude. good luck.

well, i dont mind it running somewhat rough, but you dont want to pull up to a light next to some honda, and hes got his rice purrrrrr, and you have a wicked bad sounding car. It'll make the seven look bad
