Rotorhead.ca update

Rather than have this buried in the "What's with Rotorhead.ca?" thread, I figure I owed it to Manntis to let you know what's happened with a new thread. For the un-informed, briefly: I'd bought some items from the rotohead.ca website then heard nothing for the past... 3 months. After some intervention here by helpful forum members I finally received a direct email from Manntis/Rotorhead (his company I gather). He explained his recent problems, which I won't repeat here since they are also in the original thread, and he has given me the choice of a refund or hold out while he chases down the product. I have opted to hold for the product, with a request he keep me apprised of the order status - which is all I really wanted to begin with...just some confirmation I was being looked after. Anyway, again with much appreciation for all for the interest, I will see what unfolds. I was told 4-6 weeks, so I will update everyone then. I can not say definitively that Rotorhead.ca is "back in business", I will leave it to you all to individually contact them to establish this, but he seems prepared to live up to our financial agreement and I am satisfied with that, presuming a satisfactory outcome.
Thanks to all for making this a great place to visit!
Cheers

I don't know Manntis personally but I do know that he's the kinda guy that lives up to his obligations.

I'm glad you were able to get your problem with Rotohead solved.

What is it like in Fairbanks?? Never been to Alaska.

Owned.....

I'm not agreeing with this, you paid, therefore someone responsiable should deliver. I know you aren't the only one involved in this. When are you expecting your items?

Be safe get your money back.

If he was in your shoes I think he'd be concerned too. He should atleast contact everyone and not leave from one day to the next.

The guy has a solid rep on the forum and I'm not one to kick someone when they are down, so I'm happy to give him the chance to make things right. We'll see how it turns out...
As to Fairbanks- yep, Alaska: land of 22 hours of sunshine (summertime lots of pavement, great scenery and no troopers to speak of-
watch out for the occassional pot hole, though
