Rotor and E-shaft Mix match Question

Can i use an 82 e-shaft with 83 rotors and counterweight? DO e-shafts differ in weight and balance over the years? Thanks, Matt

E-shafts are the same, match the counterweights to the rotors. Don't remember which year the rotor weights changed. Either the Mazdatrix or RB web site has a listing of the rotors and counterweights.

for the 12A Rx-7s, i believe they changed in 1983.
