Rotaryshack Wtf???!!!

Over 1 month ago I ordered ~$600 worth of turbo parts from Robert(www.rotaryshack.com). I paid him in full with paypal. He "sent" the parts 2 days later. There was a problem though, he put the wrong zipcode on the package, and it ended up in St. Louis instead of Columbus. The tracking number he gave me for the package also wasn't valid, but I assumed it was because it had already been delivered, but went to the wrong place, and was re-routed back to him. Once he found that out, he "sent" another package with other parts in it, some better than what I orignaly ordered. I asked him for the tracking number for that package last friday, and have not been able to get in touch with him since. I've left messages everywhere(Private message, e-mail, shop phone, and cell phone)and have got no reply.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with Robert let me know. Or if anyone goes to his shop often, tell him to call me NOW and let me know what's going on.

Don't take this personally Coldy, but it seems pretty obvious despite the occational explaination thread of why parts were not delievered on time explaination that "it was shipped to the wrong address". And then someone drags up their dissatification here on the furum, which finally gets you a response. It should be easier then that to get a hold of someone you gave large sums of money for parts you expect in a timely fashion.

THIS is strictly a observation/hypothsis from all the threads that have come up about this. See a emerging pattern? Their is a claim about sending out parts to the wrong address and bogus tracking #'s, or maybe because they need to made the parts yet, and haven't sent anything out yet, in which case, it would be easier to simply tell you guys ordering/buying that it will take 1-3months to make them because of how swamped/lazy they are?

Again, don't take it personally either parties, and correct me if I'm WAY off!!

From what I've heard, Robert seems like a nice guy. Just be patient. I'm sure he'll respond here and clear everything up.

I have been patient for a long time now. I made this post and about 4 others in different sections trying to get his attention, plus the messages I've left at his shop, cell phone, e-mail, and PM's. He finally called me back last night to explain what's going on. He has been VERY sick and the only time he has left his bed was to go to the hospital. He's still not fully recovered yet but was finally well enough to be able to speak and call me. He had to have a friend of his take my package to UPS to send it, and the paperwork is at his shop, which he hasn't been able to get to, which is why I havn't gotten a tracking number yet. I wish he would have called me right when he got sick, but oh well, can't change that now.

Not to come off the wrong way, but when someone is so sick that they can't leave their bed, your package is the last thing on their mind. He still went through the trouble to get a friend to send it out for you. Be happy with that.

I know that, but I paid him IN FULL over 1 month ago, and have still never recieved any actual proof of anything ever being sent. Then when I can't even get in touch with him for 1 week it makes things very suspicious.

If he's sick he might not be able to do things, but if you don't know that................
