Letme know what you think of the settings that I have? are they close?
One of my main concern is getting a wheel with lip.

I hate the look of a fwd +40 offset flat wheel.
Have you got anywhere on shipping and pricing?

Are you SURE changign the offset will change the wheel deepness,or maybe they migth just add more to the Hub to the correct needed offset, and not change the depth.

i still highly doubt rotas will make RWD friendly offsets in 14-16" sizes.

let me know if they release a wheel somewhere around 0 mm to 20 mm

Hey Guys- for those who are ready to joint the group buy please PM me with your email address, the wheel/size you are interested in & I will make a list to present to Rota.

I want to make shure that I give them the corect offset- I dont think anyone in this forum knows this number or is reluctant to share his prized information- anyway I will make a dummy 15x7 wheel & get the right offset with no rubbing even when turning the steering wheel lock to lock- I will have pics & post the outcome shortly.

Generally speaking, this is never done because very few cars have studs that are long enough to accomodate such a difference, not to mention how it could mess up the engineering side of things.

For those who want 17's the D2's are available in the following size and offset:

17 x 7.5 +20/+25/+30/+35/+40/+48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

They could easily be drilled for 4h x 110MM, and the these offset choices would allow the correct fit for the non SE FB's.

I would have requested the D2's if they were available fully polished.

well if we can choose our finish, shouldnt we be able to get what we want with it instead of just the ones offered? isnt that what choose means? i will definately get D-2's if enough people will

It looks like the JSPL might happen I could go for those instead of the GT3's... I guess all I'm really looking for is something, anything, different from what everyone else is running. I gather that most the ppl on this post feel the same way. Anyway, (i know I sound like a broken record) if the JSPL's happen count me- in as long as they'll fit my RX3.

I own an RX-4 and am wondering if the GT-3 rims will fit. If not, what are my options?

just throwin' this out there-

what's the reccomended tire size? I don't want my speedo to be off by that much, so the overall wheel/ tire package shouldn't be that much bigger. i was thinking 205- 50- 15 or 215- 40- 15. What are you guys planning on running?

btw- so many new tire choices with 15 inch wheels!! i'm in heaven!

Why are you trying to kill this? If Rota can make an offset that will work, I'm all for it!!!

Hey- I did not get a chance to get in contact with Rota today will get them tomorrow- I have 6 people ready for the JSPL & 2 for the GT3- anyone else on the GT3? I would like to get these (GT3) myself with the black center- I would not mind the JSPL if it were available in a full 7" width- will ask Rota tomorrow about this, the center caps & the offset question that ApG Spaz brought up. I will also ask about fitment for the RX-3 & RX-4 guys.

woul rota give us a deal if were part of this group but dont have a ton of people buying one wheel....my vote was in for the gt-3 and if i could still get those at a deal with no one else buying them then i want the grid wheels.......its too bad more people aren't going along with this i thought there would be more.....by the way the reason the grids got my attention is because i saw them on a 240 today at the exhaust shop and they looked so sick....i thought they were just flat but the center is actually sucked in a little...........anyways, it sounds like i a, pretty much out of this deal because i dont want 5 spoke wheels.......waht's going to happen??

no problem- I also wanted the GT3 wheels but the JSPL are not bad looking at all- looks like I will also go for the full polish JSPL wheels- I will talk to Rota to see if we can get them in a full 15x7 & not 6.5" width!

So I believe we are up to 8 for the JSPL- that means a price drop!- will find out tomorrow ....maybe then more people will join & the price will drop even more!

Ditto, Fully Polished J.SPL's - 15 x 7 and correct offset(?), I'm in big time.

Rotrmotr please ask ROTA about the availability of center caps. I think black or chrome would look great on J.SPL's.

When will we determined correct offset?
