rotrmotr ,
Can you ask if other finishes are available (e.g. polished lip & center, or polished lip and hyper silver center), if a minimum number orders it?

uhm..why dont they make some serious deep dish wheels..something along the lines of what le-man cars use ..you know use those wheels to come up with a new wheel but smaller and still that deep look..i dunno my .02 cents and 7.5 isn't wide enough to me..make them 8 . 15x8...LOL

I'm definately still interested as long as I can get the offset to work with my RX3. Like EL5Letra said I thing the GT3's would look nice with some lip. If we can do diffwerent combos I'd take the GT3 with a white center and a polished lip. Keep us updated.

Actually that is 6 for the GT3, several of us are interested in a 5 spoke style also. Someone needs to pick one 5 spoke and get the numbers, at the moment theres a lot of guys swinging around 4 styles.

Don't completely count me out yet. If I can scrape together the cash I'm in on the GT-3s.

Can the 5 spoke guys settle on one rim, the "Flight" is cheap at $400, it is simple and clean looking at 15 x 6.5.

Can we get 5 guys who agree on this rim. Suggest a +10 offset, this will bring the outside of the rim closer to the edge of the body without rubbing by my calculations. Anybody got more info?

Started a thread for these only at https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...77#post5390277

Im still here,I read this every day to check on updates.

Im still towards the GT3 since they dont have 17,16 will be fine.
.............
MODEL NAME: GT-3

COLORS AVAILABLE:

Royal Red, Royal White, Royal Carbon Fiber, Royal Gun Metallic

....

I dont see "Black" listed, would that be royal carbon fiber,or can they do it in diffrent colors.

1)If more people go,will the price drop from $450. to maybe $400?Just wondering etc etc

2)Please find out the offset, that will matter the most.Getting the wheels drilled to a 40+ offset wont do much.

3)Shipping as one stated.I think its about another $100-$150.

If this deal doesnt hold up,or starts to look bad.I will go back with my other plans and get these 17s i want, and get adaptors for the staggered look.

i still want these wheels but if we dont get the ball rolling soon i have other wheels lined up that will cost me 500 including shipping....shipping shouldnt be more than like 75 bucks right? 100-150 is more expensive than any quote ive heard from a number of wheels producers/retailers..........lets start a new thread and get down to business!!

Hey Guys! just spoke with Rota today- more good news- first to answer a couple of questions posted before:

Black is available for the wheel centers.

The slipstream & JSPL are the only rims available in full polish!

If people are interested in diferent sizes of the same rim style (3 for 15x7 & 2 for16x7) that is OK!

The wheels ordered through this group buy will definetly have the correct offset as he re-ashured me.

I prefer to give Rota the correct offset for a 7" wide rim for our cars- does anyone know this number (I think its between 15 & 20 mm) If I have to, I will build a dummy wheel out of wood to find the right offset (I have done this before for my Talon)

As for ordering goes- lets agree on a deadline- lets say next weekend? I will need the email addresses of all SERIOUS buyers & the wheel style & size wanted (PM me)- I will then compile a sheet with the total ammounts & call Rota for final prices for each style & find out about shipping prices & lead time for the wheels to arrive & post/email that info to each buyer for final decision.

Let me know if this sounds good to you guys?

I almost forgot- there is ANOTHER wheel available in a 15x7 - its the REV (see pic)

THAT IS NICE!!! that is a +40 offset wheel- now imagine in a +18 offset - that is another full inch of lip!!! (for those guys that love deep dish wheels)

I was just playing around with this site:

http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs...&text1=&text2=

Letme know what you think of the settings that I have? are they close?

Count me in on a set of Fully Polished J.SPL. (15x6.5). The offset would need to be changed from catalog to 18mm or so.

Didn't someone say center caps were available from ROTA? If so, I'd be interested.
