roh snyper question about tire rubbing

Hey guys.

I've got a question for ya. You guys with 15x7 ROH snypers. How many of you have your car lowered 1.5 inches and run 225/50/15's on the rear? My car is lowered 1.5 inches and with my old mesh wheels it began to rub a wee bit so I'm getting new wheels. I've heard the snypers are the correct offset and sit the wheels more "inside" the car instead of outside the wheel wells.

I have ROH Snypers and Eibach springs that dropped the car down abit. I have some tire rub on the front on a hard bump; however, I've yet to roll under the fender-flanges. I have Michelin Pilots R205/50 R15 XGT H4 mounted, atm. I'll post photos of the tire-to-fender spacing, asap.

I probably just need new struts/shocks as the current ones are stock!

Thansk for the reply. I want to go 225/50/15 on the rear and probably 205/50/15 on the front. My car has b&g springs (1.5 drop) and tokico blues.

Post those pics up i'd love to see them. Especially from the side of the car so i can see how much the tire does or doesn't stick out of the rear fender.

I have the Kosei K-1's with 225/50-15 Yoko's (in the rear 205's up front) and they rubbed as well and I have ST rear springs cut 1/2 coil and 3 way adjustable drag shock and I had a rubbing problem. I just rolled the fenders and problem was solved, they tuck in perfectly... love them.

Is the offset of your wheels the same as the roh snypers do you know? Where did you get the fenders rolled? Just rear or front too?

Here's a decent pic of the front-most corner; showing the ROH Snyper offset. I'll post more if I can get some taken before dark. These are before the Eibach springs, btw. It sits even lower, now.

lol...I just noticed that it kinda looks like "The Walton's" front porch in the background! How fitting, being in North Cackalacky and all!

Thanks Chasrx. A pic from the back to see how much the rear tires stick out (if at all) would be great if you can manage that!

I'll uncover it tomorrow and attempt to get a more useful view with better resolution. This shows somewhat. They are close to flush-condition.

Down East. Near SJAFB. I'd refer to it as "the armpit" of our beautiful state.

When you say close to flush do you mean slightly sticking out of the wheel well or slightly inwards?

I forget the offset of the kosei's so I can't tell you. I only rolled the rear fenders. Here are a few pictures, on level ground my car sits a bit lower.

Thanks Chasrx. That helps me out alot. I noticed that they sit kinda inside the fender lip there. I dont know about 225 width but for a 205 they sit enough inside the fender lip.
