also make sure you check diff fluid and maybe do a replacement of that and your trans fluid. it would give you a good excuse to blow some money and maintain the 7. also, grab some spare bulbs and oil. and make sure your belts and hoses are in good shape.

Right on guys, yeah I've been pretty busy the last couple days, doing just that. I'm pretty sure she'll make it easily, just checking - thanks, and I'll post some pics from the trip when I get there

Might want to bring along some MMO for safety, as well.

For long roadtrips, I suggest a real full size spare. It will get you farther and faster than a donut. There have been a couple of roadtrip threads in the last month, check them out.

When I take my Subaru out, I have to take along a replacement fuel pump. Just be glad you don't have to fix your fuel pump in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere.

carrying fuel filters/pumps/MMO, jesus you guys carry too much stuff with you.

the car should make that trip fine aslong as its in good running shape now, do the basic tune up now and rock'n'roll. i dont see why it wouldnt make it.

alberta to toronto is what 1000k? take into consideration how often you just drive around town without problems. i must put on 500k a week without issues. then again i wouldnt want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with no parts to fix up my car.

Ya, the money pit runs pretty good now, just looking at the rear right drum right now - its making a little noise, pretty sure its just the shoe rubbing against something though. The trip will be just about 2,000 kms. Man is it ever going to be fun driving her all the way there!
