road race exhaust

Would like to hear personal experiences switching from a streetport to a RB road race exhaust system please. Contemplating on making the change with my car.

The RB street port exhaust uses the RB road race header. So I'm confused what you mean.

Maybe you mean from a RB high performance (collected at the header) exhaust to a RB street port exhaust that is dual piped until right before the rear axle.

Is that what you mean?

yep, been around long enough to know the difference just described it wrong. Looking for "personal" experience between the two.

I've driven Kentetsu's car with an RB single exhaust, and mine with the streetport dual exhaust. Honestly didn't notice a huge difference. Would probably be much different if both cars were ported, but both were stockport at the time.

interesting, i went from the RB single to the street port, on a gsl-se, and it was a HUGE difference.

peak power (6500-7200) was about the same, but the streetport had way more low end (2000-5000)

It's on a streetported 13b 4 port with a camden. I have an electric cutout but the motor gears are screwed. It tended to leak which was a pain. Want to improve flow without too much more noise. I have a complete rb 12a strettport 9roadrace) exhaust off a donor from the wrecker. Going to pick up the 13b header today. Just wanted some feedback. I am also thinking about replacing the rb muffler with a 2 in 2 out magnaflow.

I went from a RE single pipe collected at the header with 2 presilencers and a muffler to the RB SP full exhaust setup.

The tone is different, actually louder in the car.

Performance wise it feels like its got better power mid range and up
although the very low end seems to have less torque.

I won't know until I dyno it again sometime. I've also replaced the fuel
pump as well so I expect different numbers. Better, maybe, I hope but
its no big deal as long as its not less Last time I did 134 whp on the
old setup. My mods are in my sig.

Heres the requested pic:

Tim's engine always looks good. Especially in person I have riden in a street ported 12A with the duel outlet header and road race exhaust. It's actually pretty quite and mellow. But my car has a full 3" exhaust, so about anything is quiter than mine.
