On the road...Finally!
Got out yesterday finally took a ride through Rock Creek Park. It's some pretty twisty roads around there. Stopped to take a break and took some pics. been a long time coming!

Okay, but you've got to explain why it says 'GSL' on the back, but you have SE wheels. Looks very nice, and those louvers are a collectors item by now (Mazda Factory Store).

Looks like the -SE part broke or fell off.
IMHO, louvers are gay....sell them. Also, it would look much sexier without the bra.
Overall nice car though.

It's a GSL. I swapped the SE suspension...waiting for new wheels! In DC you need a bra to cover the whole damn car, trucks throw **** you all day! The louvers are old school there're kinda growing on me.

The louvres look fine to me and will help reduce the heat from the sun. Just take care that your paint does not get damaged under the bra. BTW, thanks for the freon.

Great looking ride, there. The louvers look to be in good shape, and obviously keep the sun out of the hatch glass, so sure; why not old-school it up. I've got some aluminum ones out in the garage that need some serious cleanup, myself.
My neighbor has a '79 with the original louvers intact; however, it's been sitting out in his empty lot for 10+ years, now, rusting away. It's a real shame to see the little neighborhoodlums kick soccer ***** at it, bounce basketballs off it, etc. I'd love to save the louvers, but the guy won't budge on a sell.
