on the road again but electrical problems

Been working on my rx-7 for year and half(85 gsl 55K miles, new paint exhaust carpet works).. When i was going to get it inspected and registered had few problems. First i checked the blinkers they worked. Then i checked the hazards they didnt work. Then when i tried the blinkers again they didnt work. Headlights still work and trailering lights when headlights are on. NO blinkers or side marker blinkers. Anyone have any idea what this is? Im thinking theres a short or somekinf or relay might be bad.. any help from you guys would be appreciated.. Griff

have you smelled anything burning while having your lights on? my buddy had a 79 and his lights did all sorts of goofy things... turned out that a wire or two in back shorted

You may need to clean the multifunction switch. I think the hazards are on a seperate flasher unit, check the wiring diagram to be sure. Also check all of your bulb sockets, when they become corroded, contact is intermittent.
