Rims!
as we all know fb's come with 13" wheels stock. however i can't find any stylish 13's. i don't want to loose the torque associated with going to a size 15" or 16" rim. does anyone know where i can find some nice looking 13"?

I think it might be a DIY type of thing. If you find or lookup any type of metal worker, you can ask him, or atleast ask for tips. The hard part is they're finished with platic coating on them, so a off the shelf spray really doesnt work to polish, just clean. Yea i'd ask one of those guys, cause I'm not positive about it, theres some things that will eat the rims of because its a different type of aluminum/alloy.

IMO, the stockers look great when done up nice. I just sandblasted mine and put a few coats of clear (actually 7 coats) on them and I think they look great. Tell me what you think.

It surprised me too. They looked almost white after sandblasting, but after I applied the clearcoat (no coloured paint on them at all), they darkened right up to what you see. They look really awsome. They should look good on my black car too. I don't yet have tires for them, but once I do they will be going on the 7. I will get pics when that happens. I could prolly wet sand them lightly and then polish them with a car polish to bring out the shine a little more, but I like them the way they are.

I used a plastic paint stripper wheel on a drill to clean the coating and the grime off. Easy work, but lots of dust, cough, cough.
Some guys then sand them smooth going from a heavy grit down to a very light grit. That'll give you a mirror finnish and it also works on your intake!

I want to get my stock 4-spoke refinished/ polished. Any suggestions on what kind of business would do that?? Nothing under "wheel refinishing" in the phone book

I would have sanded mine down and repainted them like stock, but I don't have enough patients (sp?) for that. Hell, 2 hours a wheel for sandblasting was enough for me. I like the way they look anyway. More like an aftermarket rim this way. Most aftermarket rims are one colour anyway.
Oh, yeah. I should mention that after sandblasting, I was able to polish them to a nice shine. I just tryed a little bit, but the sandblasting texture went away and they shined up real nice. I just didn't want to do that. I wanted to be different.
