Right tranny mount
I've been having this really annoying squeak come from the back of my car, near the right tire. I got it checked out by the mazda dealership guys, and they said it was my tranny mount...
any ideas on how to stop the squeaking?
I tried WD-40, but it only works for a few days

the tranny mount is nowhere near the right tire. but if it squeeked you could unbolt the cross member lube it up with some sort of pretty thick silicone lubricant and bolt the crosmember back up. I would think that it would be easier to replace it while you had it apart though.

Tennis, anyone
do you hear the noise when the car is under load ?
all the time ? could be a heat schield rubbing,or wd-40
the bushings on the rear end.disk brakes or drums on
the rear ? trans mount is too far forward,,,

i'm just saying out laud. what in that area could squeak.
think about it,,if your sure it's the trans mount, jack the
trans up, to hold it in place, and remove the bolts and
add a lock washer or some other rubber washers to
cinch it down

take a real good look at those bushings on the trans cross member. I have some 20 year old ones that look like they have been through hell and back and they do not squeek. you may need some new crossmember bushings.
