review on solid engine mounts

ok, so i did the fc front subrame conversion, and had the car running for the first time in a couple weeks, as a result of the subframe conversion i had to make my own 12a engine mount, ( can take pics if anyone is interested) which i was nervous would be too bumpy and shakey for the daily driver, but once is started it it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought
the idle seems smoother, and its not too shakey i recomend to anyone doing performance mods to consider this,

I wasn't crazy about the idea of having solid motors holding a flimsy aluminum front cover onto my car.

That being said, I ordered the "competition" motor mounts from Mazdatrix, and will be replacing my old worn out stock ones soon.

please post those pictures of your fc subframe conversion. I'm thinking of doing the same in a few weeks.

having an aluminum solid mounts aint that bad. I used only 1 on a RX-4. Its in the passenger side. but someone has mentioned to me that its better in the driver side. I will try that next time in my RX-3.

I've changed over to solid motor mounts a few weeks ago in my ' 12A. I love the difference. I highly recommend it. The only downfall has been having to torque up the odd screw in the interior trim as a result.
