Question Restoration project questions

I resently bought a 1982 Mazda RX7 GSL- GEL
It has 46,000 miles on it. It is in great condition exept for minor rust spots I can get out easy. But the man does not know the last time it ran. More than 2 years estimated. Did not break down just stored with out a use. It is carb type. 12A engine 5 speed manual.
I did a compresion test with the VERY expensive Mazda compresion tester and it came up with 135 in both chambers at every revolution. Everything is new in the motor. Has always been taken care of. I want to know what to check for when I atempt to start this thing. All I know is turn the key and it should start. My main car is A Japanese 1999 Mazda RX7 and it starts just by turning the key so what do I need to know when starting or getting it to run. Please let me know any pointers and email me at christia@vals.bigfork.k12.mt.us. I am a shop instructor so don't laugh at the address.
