I meant I cant lock my respeed adjusters. I used RTV to keep them from kreeping out of where I set them.

Jingkun, I don't have any weird noises goin on other than from my rear swaybar (heim links).

I think that the problem might have to do with the length of the shock. Is the shock too long, so that it is bottoming out before the weight is actually resting on the springs?

When I first installed my rear perches, I had Illuminas on the rear. I found that I could not go as low as I wanted to (which, I admit, is very low) due to the length of the shock. I found some used short Bilstein shocks and threw them on. Now I am limited in how high I can go, because the shock is so short. Works perfectly for me now, but if I want to raise it at all (rally cross maybe?) I'll have to swap shocks too.

Anyway, that might be worth checking out. Good luck.

Sounds like I'm having the opposite problem where my spring is too short, I guess I could try to go lower again, thanks for the input

If you lower the rear suspension too much the watts linkage can bind during hard conering, causing "snap oversteer". How low do you have it set?

I'm trying to get it back to about stock and its not quite there. I'm gonna lower it down a bit some in a minute and see how that works.

No issues at all with snap oversteer on my car. Dropping the car, with proper spring rates and a good swaybar, will actually result in less movement of the rear end. That reduction in movement seems to eliminate the whole binding issue, because it never moves far enough to reach that poing.

Check my videos and see what you think...

Spring too short/shock too long = glass half empty/half full

If you are dropping it down, then the shock may be bottoming out which would cause the spring to flop around loosely.

Put the rear up on jack stands, unbolt the bottom of the shock, and set the rear to the height that you want it at. Then, if there is an issue with the shock length it should be apparent when you attempt to reattach the bottom of the shock (with suspension still loaded).

Got any photos of what's going on back there?
