ReSpeed FC Oil Pedestal on a 83- 85 12a?
Has any one used ReSpeed's FC Oil Pedestal to replace the beehive oil cooler on a 83-85 12a when doing a FMOC mod? Thanks, just want to make sure this part will correctly work as an oil filter pedestal on these engines. njw

It will work fine except if all you want is to junk the beehive OC, then a regular one will work. But again, there is no substitute for a nice REspeed Oil Pedestal and it is pretapped for oil pressure gauge.
I bought one, but mine is for my 13b I don't think there is a difference, but it's very well made, and fast shipping. Billy there is an outstanding guy!
If you are going front mount then I shouldn't see a problem, your oil pedistel gets removed (2 bolts underneath) and you mount this one on.
