Require Help ASP!- Pressing New Bearings In!

Exclamation Require Help ASP!- Pressing New Bearings In!

Hey guys, don't normally call for help to be this fast, but I am at school right now and trying to replace the old Rotor Bearings. We found a transmission bushing press that fits perfectly over the bearing, but i got it up to 5 Tons on our Hydraulic press and the damned thing didn't budge?

I am going by the factory reccomentdations, of having the gear side of the rotor down with the tool pressed firmly on the bearing and slowly increasing pressure.

5 Tons seems like it should be enough to press the old bearing out, but I am afraid to go any further, in case I might damage the rotor.

Any help as soon as possible would be grateful!

Well I'm not going to mention anything about the lack of support on this topic.

But for future information, some of these bearings get stuck in there nice and tight. I ended up going to about 15 tons or so to pop the first one out.
