Replacing Gauge Faces

Does anyone know some tricks to replacing the gauge faces? Do I have to remove the entire dash board ?

checked the archives and found nothing. I know the wheel has to come off but I am afraid to pull out the cluster for fear of breaking or disconnecting something. I noticed there are screws on the backside of the cluster. It appears to me that they need come out to get to the faces. I am replacing the stock faces with new white faces. I practiced on one of my other ones and have not been able to get the cluster out so I assume I have to pull the dash. Really don't want to so I hope someone knows a trick.
