Replacing fuel door button
I picked up an 85 GS that has a broken fuel door button. I've got a new one, but can't figure out how to get the one out of the car. I've taken out every screw that I can see on the dash plate, the side plate and the ring that holds the choke, but the dash plate doesn't move.
It's driving me nuts. What am I missing?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

1st unplug the wires to the switches, you don't want to break the hatch release. theres a small screw in the choke **** (you must spin the **** upside down so the hole matches up with the screw), thers a screw on the lower right hand side of the panel, theres some screws on the sides.

Thanks. I forgot to say, mine doesn't have a **** on the choke and I think I've got the screws that you're talking about. I'll have to check to see if I can see the plugs.
Does anything need to be done with the fuze box? It looks like the switches sit above it.

He's trying to get the trim off. I was telling him to unplug the switch before taking it off so he didn't brake the hatch release. I broke mine and have replaced it with a push button
