12a irons on 13b housings?

This may sound crazy, but can you use 12a irons (paticularily the outer irons) on to a 13b block/housings? Esentially making a 4 port 13B.

I have -se rotating assy and housings between old school 4 port irons, but to answer your question "yes" , 1985 and older might as well be legos.
