Question Replacing clutch on an 82.....

I have to replace the clutch on my car, and I just looked at it today, and it seems like the oil pan may have to be removed to change the clutch, is this true, or am I not seeing things right? Any help tips and/or pointers would be a great help. I plan on doing the clutch in the next couple of days. Thanks in advance.

noo you dont have to remove your oil pan to do the clutch. a good pointer is get a shop manual like haynes. it will help you remove the correct parts.
