HOw the hell im supposed to take off the cable?

My haynes manual tells me to, "Remove the parking brake caliper from the top of the caliper" I dont freakin know how Man.

I've just been using a socket and removing the entire bracket that holds it up, but thats a pain in the *** too.

 

Remove plastic surround on E-brake handle...loosen cable adjustment nut with a screwdriver... count the "clicks" so you can return it to the same tension when done... pull slack cable under the car and remove from the caliper.
