Removing components: Hot start assist, sub-zero assist, AC Throttle opener

From other threads it appers there are no ill effects to remove the hot start assist and the sub-zero starting assist. Any known issue with removing the AC throttle opener.
The AC has never worked for the past 21 years.

Safe to remove.
Keep it in case you want to fix the AC.

The A/C opener is weird, there's actually a control algorithm and not just a simple on/off function.

My refrigerant is a little low and my idle is a little high, and I adjusted the opener to have neutral idle change with a full refrigerant charge and 250-300psi high side pressure. With a slightly low charge, the idle can creep up over 1200 or so at which point it disengages... then the idle drops and it re-engages. Feels like a 90s Honda with air in the cooling system. I know it isn't lean surge because the accelerator pedal raises and drops.

On the other hand, with a full charge the car overheats on the highway, so I'll accept surging idle and only 50F outlet temps vs having to turn the A/C off when the coolant temp gets over 230.
