SO HOW DO YOU REMVOVE THE HANDLE ON THE AUTO SHIFTER??? i NEED TO GET THE TRIM OFF BUT CANNOT REMOVE THE HANDLE.

YES ITS AN AUTOMATIC SHIFTER, I KNOW ITS RARE ON HERE, BUT I NEED TO GET THE HANDLE OFF TO REMOVE THE SHIFTER TRIM PIECE.

Isn't there a jam nut on the shaft, just under the tee handle. Looks like a trim piece w/a couple of wrench flats. Loosen this then unscrew the tee handle followed by the jam nut.
