Easy. All you need to do is make a block off plate. Use aluminium as it's easy to work with.

remove it, run pre mix....

OMP = mechanical, mechanical parts fail.... last thing you want is no oil getting to your apex seals.... Also, it injects your dirty old engine oil with carbon deposits, etc in it into your engine... not necessarily a good thing...

Premix = easy, and reliable (unless you have a REALLY bad memory)

AND to top it all off, you get REALLY great looks when you're standing at the gas pump dumping in a bottle of 2-stroke mixing oil

One reason is if for wanting to run full premix instead of using an OMP. Personally I would do the premix over using the OMP since it enables me to use Marvel Mystery Oil and/or 2 cycle oil in with my gas. Better atomization and you have the insurance of knowing that the apex seals are getting the lubrication they need. Very rarely do the mechanical OMP's fail, but they do fail. I have a leaky one on my motor as we speak. It's not putting out enough oil into the intake manifold, so I decided to use MMO as my premix and my car has NEVER ran better than it does now.

Where do you get MMO, and how much do you mix in a full tank. Does it stay mixed with the gas well?

You can't get MMO in Canada, so you'll have to settle for 2 stroke oil. I think the ratio for a full tank was a 16 oz bottle per top off. It mixes really well and gets burnt off good too. It is probably one of the best internal cleansers.

dump in a bottle, jump on the rear bumper a few times to mix it up, get in, start up, drive away

nah, all you have to do is take a few corners and it'll be all mixed up...

I usually add the oil BEFORE i fill the tank.

but i usually run the tank down to the last few Litres most times, so when the oil is added firsts, then the tank filled, it gets well mixed.
