Question to remove or not to remove....

I'm retrofitting an 81 engine into an 84 chassis and I'm keeping the air oil cooler from the 81 . I still have to decide if I'm going to reroute the heater lines or just remove the whole heating system (since the a/c is already history) . Will doing this Effect my cooling system (make me run hot ) or just help speed ?

Other mods ...
RB header (streetable)
86 rats nest
accv plate installed
strait pipes
86 shutter valve

Any info would be apprecieated

The weight loss will help you, just defeating the heater will do nothing for cooling - plus if you ever get in trouble with engine temp you cant use that heater to get rid of a little extra heat.

YES the heater will help you if you start running a little hot. anyways, the heater core pipe on the pass side goes to the bottom of the radiator and the one closer to the drivers side goes to the block.... Simple, since you using a 81 block it wont have the T at the block, and just modify the orginal pipe that went to the heater core pipe on the pass side, so it goes straight from the bottom of radiator to the heater core

And by the way,, can I ASK WHY!?

86 rats nest
86 shutter valve?

Man toss that garbage
