Remove door lock cover?

I just finished installing my new ignition lock. I hope I never have to do that again. It is a royal pain if you don't have a dremel to slot the bolts.

Anyway, I want to re-key the door locks using the method described here https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...4&postcount=10 but I can't figure out how to remove the outer trim without destroying it.

Any suggestions?

are you askin how to take the door lock out? if so then take the door panel off, remove the pin, and disconnect the rod to the lock and it'll pop right out.. as for the insides of it, i've never played with trying to take it apart..

Yeah, how do I take it apart?
I need to get at the tumbler to re-key it to use the keys that came with my new ignition switch.

If I were you, I would take the tumblers to a locksmith for rekeying.. They have the specialized tools to do what you want done...
