Remember me?

This is the forumn member formerly known as Jalvord_2003_68 (forgot my password!)
I recently enlisted in the United States Army and I leave in 7 days. I wanted to give a big shout out to all the members of this 1st gen forum. You ALL have very nice to me in my days when I first discovered the joys of owning one of the most underrated cars in the world. Thanks to everyone who responded to my posts no matter how dumb it was. I will miss reading this posts to make these good ole rotary rockets reach their full potenial or at least just a little more fun to drive.

God speed to all you members who make this forumn what it is and hope you will continue to represent for the 1st gen folks.

PS- I'm getting $9,000 for enlisting so my baby is gonna get a makeover.

And oh yeah, I'm going to be a Light Wheel Mechanic

Good luck to you.

Also Drop the 9k in some type of investment and use it to buy/down payment on a house when you get out.

Godspeed and I salute you for your decision to serve your country. There is no greater honor for a countryman than to put his life on the line for the freedom of this country and others. That's what America is all about. Besides, you will be serving under someone who does what he says and says what he does. That's a true leader.

Even though I'm Canadian, the reality is that America fights for our freedom and protection too. A very personal thank you to all who serve.

Hades12 is right bro, you need to stach the 9-large. I'm in the AF and I did the same thing and am now wishing I had invested at least a little bit.
