unless you are going high grade leather, it shouldnt cost more to re-upholster recaros, than any other seat.

That being said, I plan to redo mine later this year, along with the rest of the interior.

Hey,
I am working up an 84 SE as a rolling restoration. Once the mechanicals have been addressed, I have to basically gut all the carpeting and redo it. If you could help me with a suggestion as to where to begin a search for replacement carpet, I would really appreciate it. I know it's a little off the topic here, so if you don't want to hijack this nice thread, could you pm me?
Thanks

i was told it would cost more than our stock seats since our seats are actually a large seat cover as opposed to recaro's have individual pads that have to be done each instead of one. my price quote pretty high so i was wondering if anyone has ever had recaro's redone. and no ive looked for recaros like the onles i have which are amazing in my SE and couldnt find anything similar for less than 1200.00
