Rebuilt 13B

I had BRYN PARK rebuild my `84 SE`s engine and it hasn`t run right since. It has been blowing oil from every place it can. Now, I notice that when I look in the oil fill tube when idling and rev it ever so slightly there appears to be a river of oil flowing by. Is this cause for alarm? I don`t have 500 miles on this engine since I picked it up last August and it is sad to see it sitting in the yard looking pretty and no place to go. I can`t drive it because I generally want to get home in the same car I left in. Is there a decent Mazda guy somewhere around Augusta, Ga? 200 miles would be ok. Mr. Park charged me $6000 for something, not sure what as the only thing that was close to right was the paint job, done by someone else. HELP!!!!

why not take it back to the same guy and demand that he re-does his job, properly this time?

If it were me, I would take it back and demand he go through the engine again and do it right this time. I do my own engines & work with only rotary but for that kind of money, you should take it back.

Because it`s a couple hundred miles and he didn`t do it right the first time or any of the other stuff he was supposed to do. I had a one shot deal to pick it up, a friend drove my `88 GXL as back up and a way there. I don`t want him on it again. He misrepresented himself before and that is bad enough. Twice would be "shame on me"...

Still 13B problems

Maybe I presented it wrong but I still have the question about the oil flow being obvious with the oil fill cap off and running. I had (have?) an issue with the charcoal cannister filling with oil and took one from my `82 parts car to replace it. I haven`t driven it `cause of the steering issues and just warm it up from time to time so I haven`t had that problem lately. After an obscene amount of money in it, I`m not sure what else to do. All advice centers at returning the car to BRYN PARK to honor his warranty but, personally, I don`t believe there`s any honor there. I get great clouds of smoke from the exhaust also, don`t know if it`s related, sometimes blue usually white, no water loss, varying oil pressure from 5-60 psi (idle- some throttle). This really sucks `cause I wanted this car to be right. I have owned MANY RX-7s and never had this kind of problem. The car has the mileage from Park`s house (he told me he had a shop) and some around here but not even 500 miles since the re-build....

I took this topic a bit off track with my comments, so to get it back on track, don't forget what the poster is asking from us please ^^

Is there a decent Mazda guy somewhere around Augusta, Ga?
I realy hope someone can answer him, as maybe getting his car back running is higher priorety then getting his money back as none of us know what he does for a living or what kind of money he has avialble to spend on his car.
