Nothing big today, still cleaning things, trying to get the money together for the atkins kit, and doing small stuff i can afford all the while.

Pretty much the only noteworthy bit is....let the obnoxious green begin.

I'm loving that color. Keep it! Are you going to keep the car red? I know thats probably in the distant future but one can always make a wishlist

For now, yeah, the car will stay red. As well as the engine bay, unless I get retardedly bored. Or unless it looks much easier after i strip out the wiring. Probably stay red. I don't care, let it be christmas all year.

Small-ish update.

Got an s5 alternator and fuse box off a friend for $50 last weekend, it'll be wired in Saturday, I hope. Ordered streetport templates from mazdatrix last week, they came in wednesday(yesterday, I suppose); so that will be getting done....some time. Whenever I can get the necessary bits to do the job. Speaking of which, is there somewhere that has a fairly comprehensive list of what you need to buy to port? I've got the basic idea of how to do it (and will be researching more), but can't find anything on what to do it with, beyond air grinder/dremel.

Also, everything is painted, finally, and I put freeze plugs in the housings today. Next week will be stripping the harness as much as possible, as well as replacing the slave cylinder and hunting for a new clutch.

I am jealous. I wish my housings looked that good. I'd consider building another 12A if I had housings that looked that good.

So, figured I'd bring this POS thread back from the dead with small update. Recently, I've done pretty much nothing on the car, been busy sorting out issues with my friends 240 we built a ka-t for. Anyway, got the FC fusebox and alternator wired in, still searching for a fmoc. Big news is that I've finally gotten porting bits/tools in, as well as a steel braided clutch line. So...assuming I can figure out how to do it, motor will be getting ported this coming weekend, after all the festivities are done with.

Picture slightly related.

FC fusebox eliminates the fusible links, or in my case inline fuses that the p/o had wired in instead of fusible links. And it looks a bit cleaner, to me.

It's progressing slowly. I've started porting, and am about halfway done, but a large portion of my bits and mandrels have disappeared. One day they were in my jeep, the next they were gone..I have no idea. But the rebuild kit is in, and sitting in the garage, I plan on ordering the missing bits/mandrels this weekend and continuing work on it. I've also decided I have no interest in rebuilding and stripping the stock nikki, so I'm searching for a new carb/intake.

Other than that.....nothing new :/

So, my mother has given me a mandate. I do, in fact live at home.

Anyway, the engine has to be in the car by the 26th. So I suppose it's time to get to work? Anywho, ****'s happenin like mad over the next two weeks!

Sorry for the lack of posts, I purchased a 240sx daily beater/drift car and have been sinking too much time/money into it.

So, been awhile since I've been here.

12a is gone. traded it this weekend for some hot *** wheels that aren't even going on my car. Seems like a bad deal, right? That's where you're wrong; for I am losing a 12a and gaining a streetported 13bt/turbo2 trans/harness and ecu. For free.

Supposedly it made something like 375 with a TD06 20g. So i'll be headed that direction now. Updates will carry on, hopefully with more regularity.
