Rebuilding my GSL-SE Rear end

Rebuilding my GSL-SE Rear end
recently during the drift events here in TX i have been noticing something... my lsd is going out i can barely hold a drift and when i launch the car one tire strip is longer than the other. i am planning on rebuilding my complete rear end with a new LSD. the only question is who makes one? I remember reading an article or something a while ago that a miata LSD from a certain year will fit into my pumpkin, is this true? once i get the rear end built i wanna see how much power it can handle with new ring and pinion, stronger axles, and a new LSD. i dont want to keep asking my friend to weld up open diffs or keep buying used GSL-SE lsd. any help would be great

get a gsl diff like blastnisideways12a says,, or you could get a lsd rebuild kitt,, something i havent yet looked into, but i wanted to get one later in my build.. maybe someone can clarify,, while you have it out you mayaswell replace some bearings ( the side bearings can go and ruin your axles if your not careful... im going to do this before i put my car back on the road...

i understand the whole difference between the SE and GSL rears but i dont have a GSL nor can i get one around my area. i not only drift i also road race and drag so this rear is going to be punished to within an inch of its life. right now i havent done anything abusive to the car since october because i thats when i started to feel the rear start to wear out. i appreciate your input.
I know there was somewhere i read that an aftermarket or stock LSD for a miata bolted right up to the SE pumpkin i just dont remember where. if i cant figure this out then i might as well put a ford 8.8 in an just go draggin an driftin

Amazing what a single search on "miata diff" brings up eh?
You can do that, but if you can't figure out the search function, are you sure you can handle a rear end swap? That last one was even in the ARCHIVE!
And some info on differentials in general, torsens, miata diffs, gear ratios and a great spreadsheet:

Edit: There's one page I just CAN'T FIND! IIRC it's a black page with green writing detailing the swap of a miata rear into an Rx7.... Anybody know where it is?
