The rotor comes bare. The bearings are made of a tapered seat and the tapered cone. Tapered seat is pressed into the rotor so the cone has something to sit on.

On the inner bearing (closest to the spindle) there will also be a grease seal pressed in after the bearing is inserted.

Hope this helps.

not sure what u mean. in the rotor or on the spindle? the outside of the bearing runs against the race in the rotor.

edit: billy got in before me. maybe u mean u missed putting in the seal and the bearing keeps falling out while trying to put the rotor back up on the spindle?

well im out of town for the week so I cant get pictures until I get back... But let me try to explain one more time. On the rotor the smaller bearing fits on the front fine but the rear bearing the larger one that goes in the rear doesnt have a smooth surface to ride on. It looks as if something is missing? and if its installed on the spindle it doesnt even ride on the rear bearing. Hope that makes it alittle clearer.

that's the best pic i can find showing how it all goes back together, you just need the grease seal then bearing, race pressed into rotor, stick it back on spindle. don't forget the grease.
