Question Rebuildd Kitt????

I spent two hours looking for rebuild/gasket kits for my 12A and found nothing to be in-expensive, will somebody give me a company or companies to check out. If you tell me to search I'll hunt you down and kill ya, as I've already tried that.

WHAT THE HELL IS A PROXY ERROR???

Also, was checking Atkins and readin their recommended list it showed many parts from 2nd and 3rd gens to use for rebuilding, is this nessasary??

I hope I don't have to spend a grand just for the rebuild kit.

Thanks,
Eric

p.s. stupid *** proxy errors we will all win!!!!!

Cheap and rebuild kit dont go in the same sentence, with the exception of this one. Also, using 3rd gen corner springs is a common thing, and a good idea. Its a better designed/working spring, thus giving you potentially better sealing, compression, power, etc.

alot of the recommend 2nd generation and third generation parts are for better oil supply to prolong engine life and provide a more problem free engine life. You don't need them but you might as well while everything is apart, or else you may regret it in the long run.

Yes absolutly spring for the better corner seals as I have taken appart my block to find that I have probably been running for 3K+ miles with no rubber corner seal inserts which is extreamly bad I am getting a digital camera in the next few days and I will post some pics in a thred on why to have them.
