Rebuild need HP
I was told that I needed to ask this question in this forum for more advice on a rebuild. I am rebuilding an '83 GS RX-7 and as if you couldn't figure it out I am new to the rotary world. I would like to bring the HP up to somewhere in the 150-200 area. I was told so far that I could get a street port done and with a better carb, exhaust (header),pulling the smog and removing the rats nest that I would be close to the HP I was looking for. Emissions is not a concern (Texas) and I don't want to go to radical. Can y'all give me some advice on this. Any and all would be greatly appreciated.

perhaps not *double*... but it will be quite a substantial improvement.
Street Port
Fuel System (new pump, lines, regulator)
Performance Tuned Carburetor
Header and RB Exhaust
And maybe a bit of weight reduction
will get you some awesome performance. Maybe not double, but it certainly will feel like double... And to the civic ricers in your area, it'll me more than enough ! :P
