does anyone know which rebuild kit i need for my nikki carb?

it's an 84 gs, apparently there's 4 different types or something?
oh and where should i get it from?

That will work. You can also go to auto zone or any other parts store and get one. Auto Zone price is 30 bucks but they will most likely have to order it. It will come with extra stuff as it is a rebuild kit for hitachi/nikki carbs from I think 73-85.

 

alll the carbs are the same right? or at least for all first gens?

someone told me there were a couple different kinds of rebuild kits for different models, is that true?

Yes, all the nikki carbs are the same for rx-7s. There are differences however. All of these differences are EMISSIONS only. I have only really noticed 2 main differences in them but I wont go into that now. Just know that if/hen you buy a carb rebuild kit it will say in there that it is for the pre rx-7 hitachi carbs also. BTW hitachi makes the nikki carb.

All of the emissions are off of my car now so i guess it wont matter.
