rebuild/half bridgeport update...
If anyone cares to know...i pulled apart an old 12a engine with the intention of rebuilding and half bridgeporting it...well...turns out that its pretty much f*cked.
The rear rotor looks like it got EXTREMELY hot...as the housing is very scarred and the side seals are molded into the rotor...with metal over the top of them. About the only good news is that i now have one good rotor and some housings to practice my porting on...oh yeah...and some more time to dig up some more funds for my project...
My new plan is to purchase a minimum rebuild kit and have it here by the time spring break rolls around...over the break im going to pull and rebuild and half-bridgeport the engine that is currently in my 84 gsl...a 12a.
