Rearend links

I'm looking at buying an 81 RX7 that has one of the rear end links that connect to the body (undercarriage) rusted thru so there are only 3 connected and one not connected... Is that fixable or should I look into getting a different RX7?

Chances are if the rust is that bad, there is cancer in other structural areas. Pick it up for cheap and part it out.

So if i do get it will possibly have to do what you are doing on yours... I wouldn't have a problem with that. but I should be going to look at it this weekend.

I'm guessing it's one of the upper links as far as I'm being told. Whats the best way to fix this?

Or, if the rust is only affecting the upper links, you could convert to a Trilink setup. This replaces the top two links with a single link that mounts under the driveshaft tunnel.
