Rear Taillight Assy. Repair?

Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of a resto project on my 83 fb. The driver side tail light housing
is cracked and missing a small peice. Is there any way to repair this? A guy I know
was saying that you can use some type of plastic epoxy (i cant remember specifically) to fill it in and clean it up.

Also, how can you seperate the plastic lens from the main peice? I wanna do some minor tweaks to the inside of it. I've heard to throw it into the oven on x amount of
degrees and x amount of time, but i dont wanna mess up the ONLY parts i have right now.

Thanks for any help/input guys!

Usually after this many years the covers just fall off...

If you need to get a nicely glued cover off then 200* in the over for 1min intervals checking to see if the glue has softened. I have used clear overhead light panels to make frosted color tails a few times. Iotus did a nice set years ago, I imagine Codeblue still has them on that car.
