Rear suspension links

Anyone change their rear suspension lower links? I found one of mine is slightly bent. I am wondering if is necessary to change both sides or is it ok to change just one? Also anyone try stiffer bushings in them? Would it help or just cause more oversteer? Last question, are the mazda competition links worth the money?
I use my car on the street and some autocross..

Thanks,

You can change just one. Especially if you use a junkyard part. Personally, I wouldn't recommend stiffer bushings, you'll just create more bind.

They are really easy to remove and replace. Sure you could change just one, no problem.

I went with Energy Suspension poly bushings in the lower links only. Big difference. Less wheel hop, easier to control how the rear breaks loose. The ES bushings are three piece so they do have a measure of twisting flexibility. Haven't bound the suspension up yet, but my car isn't lowered either.

The passenger side lower bar is also slightly tweaked on my car. Seems strange to run across someone else with a bent bar? Is this a weak point that should be shored up?
Has anyone tried straightening a bent one?

Ok heres the thing....I was going to just change the bent one on the left but today I found the source of a very annyoing clunk today. Turns out its the right side lower link. I am going to have to change both instead of going the cheap route and buying one! The price from mazdatrix is about $87 each. Mazda comp sells a poly bushing kit for about $60 that comes with bushing for the lower and upper trailing links. However they tell you only to install on the lower links. They also sell a trailing link kit with spherical bearings for like $350....so I think I will be settling for the stock ones for now. I dont think I am going to install the poly bushings right now.
