I stop to refuel and checked the status on tire inflation, thought my rear wheel was about to fall off. The lugnuts were sticking out much further than the front wheel. Went to the other side and samething. The front nuts pretty much recess flush with the rim but the rear seems to stick out far enough to disable another car that gets too close. I just don't see this as normal. The nuts don't appear aftermarket so wondering if after market rotors have anything to do with it.

 

Did you try step 1? Tightening the lug nuts to see if they are tightened down or if they're loose? We can come up with all kinds of theories, but it they don't matter if the lug bolts aren't evenly tightened down.
