rear end swap p valve

i recently swaped a 85 gsl rear end with an 84 se chunk with cross drilled slotted rotors all around and new pads my car is a 84 gs shoud i install a porportioning valve off the 85gsl to maximize my rear brakes??? i have it and just to make sure the p valve is the 4 way splitter right in front of the master cyl.

I didn't change any part of the hydraulic system when I changed from drum to disc and my car seems to stop real good. I'm not sure if it would help or not.

yes change the proportioning valve and the master cylinder. They are different for drum and disc setups.

whats different the piston output pressure on master cyl? ive only read and heared about the porportioning valve. but i can get one from the yard ill do it later.

im not sure what exactly is different, but ever auto parts store has a different master cylinder for drums and discs, and mazda has a different part number for the oem drum and disc master cylinder.

Its your brakes man, dont cheap out on it. I allready lost a 7 because of that.
