rear end/driveshaft ?? do you know it?

ok, if you guys didn't know already, i smoked the open diff in my 83 gs....time for my long awaited lsd swap. But unfortunately the parts car im using for this swap in an 82...with the smaller driveshaft flange. Problem is, i don't have the driveshaft from this vehicle. I do happen to have a driveshaft from an SA, 79 to be exact, is this going to work for my swap??

And just to let you guys know, since there isn't a whole lot of good pics or writeups on the swap, im going to get a ton of pics, and do a really nice writeup on it! So help me get goin by answering my question....thanks!

iirc 79-82 is the same driveshaft. Or like numan said you can swap the flange on the rear.
